Daddy's Cafe has a prime spot on a beautiful stretch of beach, just 1 short walk and a cove away from Teluk Nipah's main drag. Our group of friends (roughly 20 of us, plus CouchSurfing friends) choose this beach time & time again - for the sand, the hammocks, the swim out to the floating platform, the hornbills, billy goats,... Real value for money in service and culinary performance; best alternative on the island of Pangkor with à geest staff. TIP order the 1 kilo lobster.

My girlfriend and I went to Pangkor recently for 3 days and one of her 'mission' is to have our dinner at Daddy's Cafe at Teluk Nipah. We went there on our first night and I was thinking it must be some typical beach side restaurant where they only sell the view instead of the food. I was quite skeptical... More

The cooking was great using fresh prawns and crabs. Price was a bit on the high side. The real down side was it could not offer any hot drinks -- coffee or tea. Not even hot water!

Me and three other friends went to Daddy's Cafe at about 3pm after a day of relaxing by the beach in Coral Bay. It was the best place to chill as it provided shade from the afternoon sun and served great snacks and cold juices & cocktails.

As we ate at almost all restaurants at Teluk Nipah beach, Daddy's Cafe was by far the most expensive. If you look for Western food, you can eat here. The food is nice and when sitting at the beach, it's nice have your chair in the sand. During the week you find many western people at this place. You can... More
