Yes it is a little more expensive then the little places along the street but not more then the big places in old town. I love the big courtyard and the lounge. It's not bright or noises so very relaxing way to end the evening and hawkers dont come down that part of the street. The cocktails and dessert were... More

The service was good and the location great. The food was ok compared to others in our group who seemed to enjoy their food much more. Kids menu was very satisfying. Mine was a dish with 5 pieces of meat which was quite ridiculous for the prices they charge. Not sure I would return as there are many more in... More

We spent a few days in Hoi An and one night decided to go to Cava. There were seven of us, three adults and four children. The menu covers a wide range of dishes, Vietnamese and Mediterranean. The children ordered from the children's menu and we adults picked dishes from both the Vietnamese and the Mediterranean sections. Everybody were satisfied,... More

Open garden area with lanterns great atmosphere looking over the river to the old town, very romantic. Half price drinks at happy hr 5-7. We had the Baked scallops ( 12... More

Great Mediterranean food in a beautiful garden setting. Happy hour 2 for 1 priced drinks till 7 pm-- we came here just for drinks and ended up really enjoying the appetizers and atmosphere and ended up coming back for dinner the next night. All of the items we ate were very good. Some posts complained about the prices, but if... More

Ate here and it was just fair at best. The service was mediocre considering the place was nearly empty. The food was decent but nothing stellar considering the price tag. There are better choices in Hoi An.

We went back to Cava one year later and the food was better than last time. All of us (7 people) was really satisfied. They serve "western" food as well as Vietnamese food. And I think they make better Vietnamese food than Vietnamese restaurants. It´s a bit expensive compared to other restaurants, but when you have finished your meal you... More

Dined here on our 2nd night and it was great choice. We sat on the upstairs terrace overlooking the bridge and river at night and it made a great setting. Wasn't over hungry so chose the seafood spaghetti which turned out to be quite a big dish in a broth and extremely tasty with excellent hot bread as well. Surprised... More

We visited the Brasserie Cava on the recommendation òf the Rough Guide which said 'don't eat hểre on your first night in Hoi An ỏr you will go nowhere else'. Whilst we đid eat at several other restaurants in Hoi An on our stay òf 9 days the Cava was head and shoulders above the others. the food is very... More

After reading previous reviews we went for what we thought would be a special treat. This turned out to be the biggest mistake we made in our whole 3 weeks in Vietnam! We were seated in the dimly lit courtyard which was so dark that a torch was provided so that we could read the menu. We shared a starter... More
