If you like beautiful desserts, french breads and good food and coffee, you'll love The Cargo Club. We saw this in Lonely Planet as highly recommended and it is!! We went back quite a few times as we enjoyed their food and hospitality so much. Very much recommended!

A great place to dine if you don't mind spending a little extra. We had Vietnamese entrees, both were delicious. Mains- Western and also really amazing. Staff we friendly, though a bit rushed as it was busy. Some cute touches like ice cold facecloth to wipe hands on arrival and some spicy chips with salsa while waiting for you meal.... More

If you are Australian and are here for a coffee, don't order the flat white as we did as it is not what you expect. For a (close to) Aussie flat white order a cappuccino. When we finally got it right we had a reasonable coffee experience, not wonderful, but acceptable. Unfortunately it was not made with fresh milk which... More

Had two meals here during our stay in Hoi An as it was a recommendation by our trails of Indochina Guide Vu. It was a la carte australian style but 3 times the size and ten times cheaper. Fantastic service and if they make a mistake of any kind they are quick apologise, correct it and then it's usually followed... More

After 4 weeks of Asian food I really needed something more western! I was told that Cargo had amazing French food and it did not disappoint! I love that the staff could all speak enough English, coffees were great and they do the best chicken sand which!

The Cargo Club was the very first, slightly upper scale restaurant I tried in Hoi An. I visit Hoi An a couple of times each month, and always make The Cargo Club one of my eating stops - either for lunch, dinner and yes, sometimes both. The food is always fresh, creative and excellent. The views of the river from... More

Perfect for brunch, perfect for afternoon coffee and cake (oh the cakes) and perfect for dinner. Cargo epitomises the expression that you get what you pay for. Its not the cheapest place to eat but it is literally worth every penny, especially for dinner. Delicious french coffees and an ice-cream / cakes / tarts menu that you will struggle to... More

Yes they have both local and foreign cuisine, yes it's not cheap, and yes the upstairs terrace is the best place to be. My advice is simple. Get to Cargo, get upstairs and outside looking over the river, order the Cha Ca and Beef Curry in a Coconut, and then sit back and enjoy what we found to be the... More

Quick coffee stop - then we saw the desserts...we almost didn't make it out... Next door is the more substantial restaurant, with upstairs river-side seating as well.
