Everytime we go to Sri Lanka we have my birthday in this restaurant. Everytime a perfect meal.
We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights and never had any intention to go eat anywhere else. The staff is really friendly and tries to make you as comfortable as possible. Just tell them what it is you need. From another trip in Thailand we had good experiences with cooking courses. Unfortunately, we couldn't find this in Sri Lanka.... More
I don't normally write reviews, but having seen a rather unkind, unfair and lukewarm review, I thought I should. Had a lovely meal here in April 2009, couldn't understand why we were the only diners as the food and service were so excellent. I think the answer was that no one was staying at the boutique hotel of the same name that it is part of. I would certainly stay here, it is overlooking the amazing river with its... More
