You get fleeced for some good food in this hotel. I would think they have different menu cards with prices of the season and for off season. Very expensive and portionf sizes are small. But the food is good.

I personally feel that this restaurant in ooty is too much hyped, i do agree that this is one of the best restaurant to have food while in Ooty. in fact the restaurant claims that they prepare the best idlis, which is absolutely wrong, being a south Indian, i can vouch that there are better places which can doll out... Enjoyed the hotel and its atmosphere. Wow - after three days got a great tasting south indian filter cofee only here. Dosas, Idly and pooris are simply great. A place not to be missed for having a great south indian dishes

We wanted to go to Chandan restaurant, but it was closed at that time and so ended up eating here. The food is pathetic and the service is verly slow. Hubby had some chats and fell sick :-(. the next day's plans were ruined because of this. Avoid this at all cost!!!

this is the place where you can enjoy real south Indian food. Specially I like Mysore masala dosa. the test of dosa was best in my life time.

If you are in the mood for good south Indian snacks, this is the place for you, especially if you have kids. The dosai varieties are great. They have the usual repertoire of south Indian snacks along with kid pleasers like pizza (which is really not good but keeps kids happy). The chaat was disappointing though.

The restaurant was good for Dosa which seems to be their specialty. but they will consume more time to serve, hotel location is good and price is affordable.

I've been to this restaurant many times over the past few years, it's a fantastic place. The atmosphere is nice, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the food is great (especially the dose's). Perfect for any meal.

the garden cafe experience was fantastic. their dosas are the best in india, their orange juice wonderfully fresh and the speed of service absolutely amazing and it is very very cheap! best restaurant in ooty!
