Friday night, the 1st time in Atlantic City and only 5pm is available for reservation. We took it and arrived on time so had a good table in the center near the wall partition, that gives a little more privacy. The restaurant is full of tables in a limited room, so be the lucky to have anything. There were complimentary... More

Stopped in for the first time on Sunday evening minutes past 9 having seen on their website that they serve until 10 I was greeted after some time standing at the desk by a server who told me to go their other restaurant called knife and fork when I let him know that their website indicates that they serve til... This was probably one of my top 10 meals. We both ordered the cowboy steak for dinner. Delish and HUGE!!!! Also my hubby loves fried shrimp. We ordered them ala cart, they were $3.50 per shrimp but when I say colossal size, they were huge and yummy. Forget about Ruth Chris and Bobby flay give docks a try, you will... More

This is rated as #1 in Atlantic City. Three of us went for dinner following a business meetting. The Pianist is a nice welcome, and she is fabulous, the ceasar salad was almost as good. They had lumps of crabmeat tossed in and it was delisious. The dressing takes your breath away. garlic anchovie lemon juice and parmigon at a... More

Nucky Johnson the real life politician from AC, (the model for Nucky Thompson of Boardwalk Empire) supposedly frequented Docks in its early years since the Oyster House opened in 1897. Well the last time I went to Docks was over 50 years ago and the impossible happened. It is just as good and probably better. The crab, shrimp, flounder, the... More

Was a bit crowded, so my party piled up at the bar and ordered from the 'raw' bar. At least half a dozen varieties of oysters, lobster cocktail, tuna tartare... All excellent. The tuna tartare had avocado, which disappointed one member of the group who was allergic. Other than that, it was thumbs up all around from four pretty picky... More

My wife & I visted Dock's last year for the first time during our anniversary & made it a point to return again this year. Will keep doing so EVERY time to AC! Plain & Simple - 5 STARS! A TRUE landmark! Staff, Food, Service, etc. doesn't get any better in Atlantic City.

You can't go wrong at Dock's, an Atlantic City institution. Freshest seafood, large selection of oysters, great steaks, and other assorted fresh fish specialities. Do make reservations, it is always busy! We had the small seafood tower and it was the best I have ever had! Will be back!

My wife and I had dinner there last night and from the moment we entered the restaurant it was a great experience. Our server Joan made excellent recommendations and took good care of us and the bartenders mixed a "mean" vesper -007 says thanks!
