The food is above average for the area. Really my reason for going to Florin is for the coffee. They use the best quality coffee beans (Nakhaki) in Bolivia. In my 5 years in Bolivia, I've not found a better cup of coffee. They have some great breakfast offerings as well. 'Ted's breakfast sandwich' is huge and very tasty! I... More

Interesting variety of good food - safe for tourists. Curry pumpkin soup is delicious! Cool atmosphere & one street off plaza.

They have some Dutch specialty items and the food and beer there is just fine. Good portions and reasonably priced. The best part is the ambiance of the restaurant. A variety of graphics on the wall of iconic Dutch images. The atmosphere is definitely Nederlandse cafe look to it. Lots of fellow travellers pass through.

I concur with the good reviews on Florin. Furthermore - I heartily agree with the selection of pumpkin soup.  Thick and nicely spiced to hit all the right spots on your tongue.  A soup and salad was filling just right.  Hats off on the pumpkin sopas. On another day - I came down for breakfast.  At 40 BS - Ordered... More

This was one of the few places open during carnival time, so we ate here a couple of times. Food was very good and flavoursome. Only criticism is it lacks a bit of atmosphere, staff sometimes look bored.

Being a vegetarian in South America can be hard, but Florin offers some decent choices, so I ate there several times within the last 5 days (also because El Germen doesn't serve food between 2pm and 4pm). On hot days the Ensalada Van Gogh with blue cheese and a mustard dressing is a good choice, the vegetarian Pad Thai was... More

Amazing breakfasts, good selection of beer. Nice place to come in the morning, pretty little courtyard where you can sit out in the morning sun. Can get pretty packed in the evening so best to head there late afternoon to get a table. Good service.

On the recommendation of friends I went here and went back a few times. The fried trout sandwich is delicious, the pique de macho was also excellent and the quinoa soup very hearty and tasty. Also tried the llama, which was a little chewy but still good. Would def recommend the place
