After spending over a week in Laos (between Vientiane & Luang Prabang) my wife and I decided to have a more "formal" dinner at 3 Nagas and were pretty disappointed. Given the prices of dishes & drinks at 3 Nagas, I had expected (i) an outstanding meal made from outstanding ingredients or (ii) an interesting meal of Laotian food with... More

First point: you did not come to Luang for fine dining, right? Its not what the place "does". If you want a civilized, well presented and made Lao dinner in a decent restaurant, this is it. Expenses - unless you are a backpacker - are insignificant. Laos is a very lowprice place.

We've been at 3 nagas for the Lao new year's dinner and they had a set menu which was good, with great starters and dessert but average main (chicken especially wasn't tasty). My husband had a lao sausage and it was really good, so all in all the food is good and a taste of lao. The atmosphere is cozy,... More

We are at the restaurant now, 90 minutes after reservation and arrival, still waiting for our food. We're not the only ones. Obviously understaffed and over their heads. When I asked for the manager, they said he's on vacation. Not sure who's in charge but whomever it is, isn't keeping things running smoothly. Had just stood up to pay for... More

we had dinner in the air conditioned part of this restaurant. Food was well presented and service was friendly and efficient. Menu is not extensive but there is sufficient variety. Staff will help with choice selection. Flourless chocolate cake and coconut icecream was delicious. we had an appetizer two shared mains and two desserts plus a beer and the bill... More

This restaurant pretends to serve well prepared Laotian fare. At some point in its past, it probably did. No longer. There are so many other wonderful options in Luang Prabang. Avoid this place. Sure wish we had.

Service was prompt and courteous, and our waiter was particularly helpful. Atmosphere was quiet and relaxed, one might almost say romantic. Food was delicious, you need 3+ dishes for two so the price is hiked from first impressions of the menu, but quality & taste is good enough to carry it through. Desert (flour-less chocolate souffle) was a chocolate livers... More

We ate here on our first night in laos, and were lucky enough to get a table when we walked in. The appetizer of the "river weed" was delicious, smeared with the traditional spread of the town, the Jeow Maklen. Loved it! Great introduction to the cuisine of the area.

Had the most fantastic spring rolls anywhere inh the world. Probably made poor choices on main dishes. Wine list only had a couple of the wines listed. Staff very attentive and apologetic for it's shortcomings. Would give it another try as I think we visited on an off day !

We went to 3 Nagas following our hotel's recommendation and had a memorable meal in Luang Prabang. Set in the courtyard of the hotel by the same name, the food was of high quality, cooked to perfection, with wonderful flavors and beautifully presented. More expensive than other restaurants in the city, but well worth it.
