The food is really a treat, it is absolutely fantastic. However, I found it a little expensive, probably paying more than I would in a western country for similar quality.

Great food, classy ambiance. Certainly caters to tourists but doesn't feel like a trap and stays true to Lao cooking and culture. This was our last meal of the trip: it's a bit on the fancy side, and higher price range - but of course in Southeast Asia, that still means really affordable. It was a perfect way to end...

Excellent food & service & ambiance. US$20 for the taste of Cambodia - 9 stunning dishes (the Western food costs more) - best meal I had in Laos

Quite nice European (french) cuisine, and outstanding winelist (!). So if you crave "old europe" while in Luang, this is the place. The question - of course- is why you would want Europe when you are in Laos ....

As a result, we...

We ate here twice.
The salads are outstanding. A large portion is $4.50. You'll struggle to finish it but hey ... A challenge is good!
The daily specials/ set menu are GREAT value.
In any western city you would pay at least 4 to 5 times more.
Excellent attentive service by the staff.
Don't miss this restaurant for a real...
