Fantastic food and a charming host made for a delightful evening. A cool December evening was never going to be busy, but Sami opened the restaurant just for us and made us feel both comfortable and relaxed. His cooking is excellent - we can't see how you could beat this both for quality and value. If its'off' season, ring first... More

My husband and I visited this restaurant with high expectations as it's number 1 on Tripadvisor in Sousse and it has glowing reviews. All in all we had a disappointing experience, the atmosphere was poor as we happened to be the only customers in the restaurant at that time (but it was kind of on between lunch and dinner, around 4... Recently visited this restaurant located inside a 6th century medina city and discovered a jewel of a restaurant and affable host. Food was deliciously authentic and prepared with an array of spices native to the region. The decor reflected a regal ambience of times past, The couscous was the best I've ever had and the grilled fish was superb. The... More

I tried several Sousse restaurants but kept coming back to this one, it was easily the best. It is a family run restaurant serving authentic Tunisian cuisine. It's a good spot too if you just want coffee and a light snack. The restaurant is cosy with an authentic atmosphere which is a real relief for anybody who has been dining... More

This little place has to be one of the jewels of Africa and should not be missed if you are anywhere near Sousse as you visit Tunisia. The atmosphere is authentic, the food is second to none and the owners are two of the friendliest personable people you will ever meet. I spent several days in an apartment down the... More

If you are in Sousse, Tunisia, and like authentic cuisine, make a point of visiting the Restaurant Cafe Seles, just inside the old town walls, 50 metres from the Bab el Gharbi entrance (Rue Abounawas No 42, Sousse Medina). Although small inside, the quaint, painted wooden furniture downstairs sets an atmosphere for every individually-cooked dish on the menu. Try the... More

I was in Sousse for quite a while and visited a number of cafes in the Medina. Cafe Seles is definitely the best of them! The food is excellent and whether you need a cool fresh fruit juice or a coffee pick-me-up after touring the Medina, Cafe Seles is the place to find it! You will not find better, friendlier... More

We had read the reviews and wanted to seek this restaurant out, we had a bit of trouble finding it the first time we went however if you use the Bab el Gharbi entrance as a previous reviewer noted its just inside the walls on the left. The food was delicious I had the chicken kebab and my boyfriend the... More
