We visited here on a Monday night and the car park was busy: always a great sign. The menu was true to France and complimented by good French wine. They have sourced fine Provincial wine and they are reasonably priced. I had escargots and then the filet mignon followed by the soufflé (the latter requires ordering 45 mins before you... More

I have just finished the brunch. I found the escargots really salty. For the main course I had the eaggs benedict and found it strange to be served qith a salad and french fries. One egg was cooked fine the other had runny egg whites. Came to 35 bucks with the tip. Creme bruele was a little thick and a... More

My wife and I went to Les Folies for a celebratory dinner this past weekend after riding bikes on Kent Island. We showered, put on business casual clothes and pulled into an empty parking lot for a 6:45 pm reservation. By 7:00 it was reasonably filled. We looked through Tripadvisor for suggestions and selected this restaurant because of the favorable... More

Les Folies Brasserie was a delightful find on a recent trip to Annapolis, MD. We arrived without a reservation and were seated immediately. This was a surprise as it was graduation weekend in the city. This doesn't mean the restaurant wasn't busy; there was a steady flow at all tables within sight. The service was very attentive and genuine, not... More

Had very high expectations of this restaurant given the strong recommendation and positive reviews. There is nothing better than truly delicious French cuisine. Something amazing about how food turns to art when put in the hands of a trained chef. Les Folies disappointed me on multiple levels. Located in a somewhat off the traditional beaten path of Annapolis. I reserve... More

Slightly pricey but worth it. Great ambiance and service. Food was great. Coq au vin could have used some potatoes and veggies with the entree.

We went to this restaurant as a guest of a friend who had heard about it. The place looks OK but the food, and I mean everyone's was ambitious but did not cut it. Veal scallops with mushroom sauce,..bad. Venizon with rasberry sauce...much to sweet and thick. Bouliabasse passable but that's all. Wouldn't go back if you paid me.

We have lived in Annapolis for almost 40 years starting back when there were hardly any good restaurants. Gradually over the years a few standards have emerged and Les Folies is one. They pride themselves for offering classic French Bistro food. We have dined at Les Folies more than fifty times and we have never had a bad meal. Most... More
