La Posta was exceptional. A comfortable dining area, great service and a truly great meal that was, by most standards, very reasonably priced. My wife's mushroom ravioli were well prepared, al dente, and my mushroom and asparagus risotto was as good as I have had. Always a good indicator, in my view, of quality and care in preparation. Completely adorable with fantastic food. Short ribs were to die for and pastas are the type that make you want to lick the plate clean. Go. You won't regret it.

To begin, the food here is not good. It isn't the worst ever--but it IS too salty, and too expensive, and, in some instances, just plain weird. The overcooked short ribs were really just crescent-moon-shaped pieces of salty meat, and the "risotto" was really just congealed (and salty) rice pilaf. The feta was salty; the tuna was salty; the best... More

We ate here upon recommendation from a guidebook. The food was ok but the tres leche cake with the Bailey sauce was heavenly! We came back a second time just to have the cake!

We're a party of three, mainly a business meeting. La Posta turned to be a wonderful dinner experience. Good food, smart menu with good dishes, wine list with good and affordable choices and, the restaurant itself, has good distance among tables, perfect for business and cosy enough for a dinner for two.

We made reservations to dine at La Posta on our first night in Panama City. This restaurant opens at 7pm for dinner and by 8 pm was full. The crowd was mostly expats and American tourists like us. The waitstaff was very professional and helpful with the menu. The meal was excellent and much of it from the owner's farm... More

Short walk on the happening Uruguay street. La Posta offers a great selection of entrees. Mushroom Raviolis were outstanding. Beautiful building, decor and great service. Do make a reservation or go early. Restaurant was quite busy with locals and tourists. Larger groups and families were easily accommodated.

Travelling solo can sometimes make eating out a bit awkward . I got dressed up and took myself out for a wonderful dinner. The staff made me feel very special and the risotto I ordered was first rate. The atmosphere and attention to details, along with the delicious food made for a memorable evening.

We love this place: the location, the decor and the menu are all way above average. Service is fast by Panamanian standards. Among all the restaurants at Calle Uruguay this is the Crown Jewel. PArking is sometimes and issue in that general area.

La Posta makes a good impression as you enter into the place and it gets better with the service, the wine and certainly the food. We had some assorted appetizers which were all good and we followed with the corvina which was excellent. Highly recommended.
