Came here on a recommendation from a good friend. We saw the excellent promotion on Veuve Clicquot at $SG88 a bottle. The cheapest I have seen on my travels in Singapore. The staff were engaging and very friendly. The food was amazing , so we decided to have a second bottle of Veuve. I wish I had found this place... More

This is my favourite French restaurant in Singapore. Its simple but cozy, wine nice, food great. I like the snails, salad les landes (with foie gras and duck), the dessert is also good, the meat platter and cheese platters are great. Although sometimes I found them inconsistent in quantity. The salads used to be bigger... but I can live with... More

Love this place! I've frequented it on numerous occasions not only for the "ambience francaise" but also more importantly, because I've never been disappointed! The appealing rustic decor inside with unpacked crates of Champagne Francais, Anglais posterboards a l'anciens, lime-washed parquet and informal seating make this a place to retreat to not only for lunch but for the rest of... Great little place for after work drinks on Ann Siang Hill, sans the usual noisy crowd one finds at the drinking spots.Charcuterie proved to be value for money, served with really good warm bread crusty bread. My only gripe will be the music , totally wrong for that kind of place and I suspect it could be the choice of... More

Slightly tucked away from the rowdy places on Ann Siang Hill, Le Carillon De L'Angelus sits pretty along a slightly more peaceful street. With an almost authentic French ambience, a fine collection of wine and mouth watering cheeses, Le Carillon De L'Angelus makes the perfect place for a catch up with friends though slightly pricey. The best part about this... More

Unpretentious and charming, I am glad I stumbled upon this place. There is a good selection of cheese and French wines by the glass here (and affordable). Escargots were heavenly. Service was friendly and efficient.

One of our go-to spots -- perfect for a date or happy hour/evening with friends. They have a good selection of French wines by the bottle or glass, better than average options and pricing for Singapore. And a chalkboard with food -- casual bites like charcuterie, escargot (VERY good here), cheese platters (good), tartine, salad, etc. Service generally is good.... More

Unfortunately you can't reserve so we couldn't sit outside...however we had lovely cheese and charcuterie plates with reasonably priced champagne (by singapore standards). Service however was not great....I love this area of Singapore with lots of pretty buildings.

Three French colleagues invited me to an early evening drink at this place, telling me that it was a nice quiet little place with a great French atmosphere. Nice, yes: quiet, no. At the table next to us was a group of very loud anglo-saxons, probably the worse for wear, who were making our conversation almost impossible with their vociferous... More
