An icon in Singapore. Must go and stroll around this living "colonial museum", great grounds and build. Then up to the Long Bar for a drink, the Singapore Sling if you must but plenty of others and also shelled peanuts...the shells go on the floor, so don't slip!

We had a lovely afternoon enjoying traditional English sandwiches as well as dim sum and cakes alongside, fruit and very good scones with jam and cream. Enjoyed by all and staff very attentive and thoughtful. Followed by a visit to their shop.

The service was of the highest order which enabled the lunch to be relaxed and extremely comfortable. We made our reservation online before our holiday as we were not able to get a booking when we were in... More
