Ofcourse not to miss this colonial building. It is very nice to walk through the courtyard and arcade to get an impression of the building before you enter the Longbar for a Singapore Sling. The waitress will ask you if you are a guest of the hotel or not, when you enter. The section closest to the door is for... More

The courtyard is a oasis away from the craziness of the city. Very quiet and relaxing. An excellent place to have one of Singapore's must do. A Singapore Sling at Raffles. By far the best I have tried. They use a special type of pineapple which has a less sweet flavour, along with the gin, cherry brandy and DOM Benedictine.... More

Everyone should visit the bar at Raffles at least once to experience the peanut shells on the floor, the unique ceiling fans and the (expensive) Singapore slings which made this place famous.

Yum Cha, sandwiches with no crusts, pettit fours, cakes, fruit, jelly. scones jam and clotted cream what a feast.. Champagne, Tea and Coffee flowed while the music was played of course on a Harp. If you have the chance take it,... More

The title says it all. The home of the Singapore Sling pre made sitting in a jug waiting for the tourists daft enough to pay 26 dollars PRE TAX. No pomp or cermony at all, just straignt into a glass. Give the SS a miss and have a walk around.

I loved the way that we had to throw our monkey nut shells on the floor after we have eaten them, its part of their tradition! I loved the tradiotional fans! And off course - the Singapore slings!!! mmmm!
