I have to give it to Sate Khas Senayan; I don't know how they managed to make peanut sauces this good. Anything with it, be it the satays, gado-gado, anything, tastes over the top. Combined with the tender meat the franchise's satays come with, Sate Khas Senayan serves the best of its kind in the city. In direct comparison with... More

Once heard that Jimmy Carter (ex. US president) used to love their food, I also found SKS provides many delicious packages of food. Really love their Teh Poci as drink and red bean chocolate ice as dessert. Be careful to choose the correct branch: I prefer Kebon Sirih branch as the best one and Hayam Wuruk as the worst one,... I've eaten at various branches of this restaurant for 3 decades, including the original one. Time has changed & so has the menu & taste (at least for my favorite dishes). While the food is still satisfactory & the restaurant chain still attract a loyal following, some old time favorites have been dropped from the menu & the food preparation... More

Come with your bunch of friends to celebrate something, then you'll be satisfied with this resto. Good food, good price, good service, good environment, good atmosphere. The food vary, but the taste is all yummy. For a total spend of something, they will give you extra food to carry home.

For locals, there are a lot of options to eat satay with much cheaper price, since the standard chicken satay price in ordinary stalls is less than half of the SKS price. However the SKS offered a guaranteed clean and hygienic Indonesian traditional food, so from that poin of view, price is acceptable though a bit expensive. Most of the... More

I always like Sate House senayan, it's been my favorite from long time ago. I am impressed that they still maintained the taste and quality.
