I actually don't even want to rate this restaurant because it's not worth any star. I did it simply because it's required. It's way over priced with such bad attitude in service. The owner himself is the mirror of his staff. I very seldom rate any restaurant on my "never return" list but this one is on top of it.... More

have been going to this Italian restaurant since it opened 10+ Years ago, and still think about the pasta there and want to go again once in a while. The ingredients are always fresh and nicely prepared. I love the pasta there. The service, considering the $$$, is poor as always at all standards. Having said that, I will still... More

Small and quaint food, authentic Italian. The food is good, but you pay through the nose. If you really want true pasta and delicious fish, you will find it all here in Hong Kong. Portions are not large, and it really is overpriced!

You'll want someone else to pick up the incredibly expensive check. I get it that the ingredients are flown in first class daily from Italy, but really, HK$240 for scamorza?

We had a meal here, but we were SOOOO disappointed. We love Italian and had initially hoped to have a nice meal since it was obvious that the owner was Italian. We were so wrong. The food was simply mediocre at best and inedible in some instances and most was far below par, even for a cheap chain restaurant. A... More

My first impression is clean, simple and family-style decor. There were not many selections o the handwritten menu. We ordered seafood soup, garden salads and grilled squid as appertisers, followed by a main of red shrimp linguine. The food was exceptional, simple yet very delicious. We simply enjoy our lunch. I will recommend this restaurant if you want to enjoy... More

Probably the best bowl of pasta outside of Italy i've had in years. The room is an exact facsimile of every mid sized regional Italian town's best restaurant in the 80s - complete with proudly displayed fridge in the middle of the tables (look we can afford one). the head waiter is knowledgeable if you engage him, but brusque. the... I have eaten at lots of restaurants in Europe and honestly believe that they are already very expensive. But this is because it is Europe and usually are in places with atmosphere and character. However Da Domenico really takes the cake.We had 2 pasta and a sea bass to share.Coupled with a bottle of wine, our bill came up to be nearly HKD... How can Da Domenico get away with serving a slab of meat on a plate with nothing else to garnish it , and still charge top restaurant prices, makes me wonder whether diners in HK have more money than sense. The average cost of a meal here is so much more than other italian restaurants in HK, for food that... More

Went here on recent trip to HK. DD was billed as an authentic experience If you want good Italian food. I lived in Italy for a long time, so I think I know what that means. I was warned DD was expensive, but good food often is, and was looking forward to the experience. What we received was beyond diappointing,... More
