“Best outdoor eating in Nairobi”

Beautiful setting and relaxed dining. An extensive breakfast and lunch time menu complemented by a great wine menu. There's also a coffee roaster so the coffees are amazing. Close to the Village Market, this restaurant is easily accessible and well worth the trip. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Free Internet is a bonus too.

The ambiance of the River Cafe is great and the atmosphere is serene, the coffees are wow and freshly roasted and grinded, the service is spot on and i recommend this gem as the perfect spot to hang out for lunches.

River Cafe is located away from the city center and it is surrounded by lots of green vegetation. It is a great place to chill out on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. “Decent Sunday brunch option, lunch menu not so good”

Ate here with friends for both Sunday lunch and brunch. Would much more recommend it for the brunch option, decent eggs benedict. Atmosphere and setting, good. Welcoming for children and dogs and set in pleasant grounds with a nursery (plants, that is) on site.
