Eaten in kilimani and Gigiri. My advice is don't order something you know. As it will not be how you expect. I had lasgna without cheese on top just mince and the mince tasted like it was straight from the butchers with no bolognaise or italian spices. Or flavour. At kilimani I ordered spaghetti bolognaise and it was similar, tons...

We had a great night out. The food was delicious, the service was great and the atmosphere just topped the evening off. The prices are on the steep side - but at least you get good quality and quantity.
The best thing I like about the place is the complimentary foccacia they offer - its nice n freshly out of the oven. You dont require to reserve hence always good for last mimute plans. Food is average. Pastas r good, perhaps avoid the soups
If you are looking for a nice romantic evening in Nairobi then this nice Italian place in the Village Market is a good bet. This was my second visit this year. The restaurant has great atmosphere - outdoor tables, braziers blazing away. The service is very good, the staff attentive but not overwhelming. However the food is a little disappointing. It is good but no more. That would not stop me returning but would stop me recommending for great Italian food.....go for the experience....

This is a place where you can easily dine alone and feel part of the overal camaraderie. The staff are friendly and the food is good middle of the road Italian with better tah usual pizzas. Live music adds to the general ambience.
The premise is just the same as Carnivore. The restaurant is fantastic. I highly recommend it, especially if you go on an empty stomach since there is SO MUCH delicious meat to enjoy.
We visited Osteria Gigiri as we have enjoyed previous visits at this location and at Del Chianti. Upon being given the menus, we noticed that all the pages were new, but the items and the prices seemed to be the same, but then we noticed the big change. At the bottom of each page it was printed that all prices...
