A friend who lives in Nairobi recommended this restaurant and we were so glad. We loved it. We go to Ethiopian restaurants fairly often in Chicago. The food at Habesha was excellent but it was the atmosphere of eating in a garden with a fire burning that made this restaurant over the top for us. More

Exelent dinner and great staff! food is amazing. I would definitely go back if I only happen to live in Kenya! Impressive service and didn’t wait long even when there was a full house! The pricing is unbelievable, too inexpensive for the quality and flavor of their food. You will not regret it. A pleased Californian girl! More

Habesha is not smart. It is a garden cafe where you won't marvel at the decor or the comfortable seats. It is, however, one of the friendliest places I have ever been, with waiting staff who welcome you as friends. The food is fab - but you have to be a fan - which I am. The bill is a... More

Habesha is the best place to eat Ethopian food with family, especially the young ones. I like the fact that there are designated smoking zones. The best part however is their fresh juice, and large portions. The service is not very fast but they do get really busy. The prices are okay but they need to really improve on their... More

The Ethiopian food in Habesha is pretty average. I did not find it rich in flavours. I think there are other better Ethiopian spots with better tasting dishes. The location however seems to be popular. More

This restaurant was recommended to us by our taxi driver, and it turned out to be a great recommendation! We hadn't eaten Ethiopian before so the waiter advised us when we were ordering. The food was excellent and the place was really atmospheric with a great vibe. It's a good idea to book if you can, because when we went... More

Habesha is one of my favorite places to eat in Nairobi! I'm a fan of Ethiopian food and discovered Habesha a couple of months ago. Now I go at least once a week! A friend of mine introduced me to their mixed veggie platter (they also have a non-veggie version), their zil zil tibs (crispy cooked beef with rosemary) and... More

I didnt rate the food personally which I found bland (apart from the injera which tasted like underlay) but it was a nice setting and garden and worth a visit for a few Tuskers and the atmosphere More
