The food is great, but the place can be improved in terms of looks. I love their egg biryani. Their dosas are also very delicious
I've eaten here a few times. First thing you notice is the complete lack of atmosphere. It's like dining in the lobby of an office tower after everyone has left for the day. The staff are however fairly helpful. The buffet isn't great. Limited choice and not all that fresh ime.
I tried this restaurant twice just to sample different foods from the menu. Regretfully the food is very bland and tasteless. The restaurant feels sterile and the service is quite poor. The price is higher than other better Indian restaurants in Abu Dhabi. I will not return here as the food is not good.
Great food, friendly staff, great value for money. Indian and Arabic cuisine is very good. Private seating arrangements for families. Restaurant also delivers in good time. Portions are good, taste is amazing, staff are friendly and lastly good value for money. Overall a beautiful experience. U can never go wrong with food at foodlands.

We even conducted my son's birthday party here and it was arranged quite well by them. The decorations with balloons were done perfectly. The party hall is good enough to accomodate a lot of people. We specially love the dahi vadas,... More
Foodlands restaurant on airport road in Abu Dhabi is liked by not only Indians but also expats of other countries and locals. Late evenings are preferred by locals as they come in big groups to taste Indian food with extra spice. We had Indian and Chinese food and both were very tasty and good portions per serve. Chicken Hakka Noodles... More

The Chicken in the Butter Chicken was way too rigid and gave us the feeling of being a stale one (even before this visit, we got the same feeling with a chicken dish). The waiters who appear... More
In my view this is probably the only Indian restaurant that doesn’t know how to cook Indian Fish Masala. Visited with family for lunch in December 2011. Ordered some rice, Fish Masala and few other items. I have never seen anyone using battered fish pieces in an Indian style fish curry/masala. The dish tasted bland with no authentic taste. It... More
