Food is inspired and of top quality. Great wine selection. They have the local 961 beer which is not that easy to find. I love it.
Don't get me wrong, the food is not bad. It's just nothing special. Quite pricey for what you get overall. The setting is very impersonal. You can get much better dining options in Beirut at this price range.
We have been to many good restaurants around the world, and Bread is one of our favourites. It compares to some of the best. The ingredients are fresh, the dishes innovative and the atmosphere is genuine and great. We also love its fifties decor. Every time we come to Beirut we must visit Bread at least once.
Really sad to see this restaurant drop its standards. Perhaps the political deadlock of the last 18 months has taken its toll. I ordered an octopus pasta dish that was greasy and over cooked. The flavours were all off too. I would definitely avoid this place until they pick up their standards. What a shame.
extremely inventive and tasty veg options - food is already fantastically fresh in Lebanon - here the food was lovely and the bread really very well done. Ate at then one in Achrafieh at lunch.
SPECIAL,COSY, CLASSY, OFFERS A VARIETY OF TASTY DISHES... but ... a bit expensive ...
Best Ever and Always .....
