Joz ve loz is centrally located steps away from Rothchild Avenue. The menu is determined every day and they try to offer dishes that are ´out of the ordinary´. The prices are relatively high for Tel Aviv. However, even if the food was not bad at all, it is not amazing compared to other restaurants in this price category. It... More

After hearing about this for so long we decided to be spontaneous and come on Friday evening to J&L. Surprisingly they had a place for two a few hours in advance, even though it's probably the busiest evening of the week. We were seated on the upper gallery floor and immediately noticed the inconsistency in the restaurant's furniture that some... More

Attended a Fixed Price menu meal that was nothing short of awful. Food was uninteresting, overcooked and sometimes inedible. As bad as the food was, the service was worse.Servers took their breaks near our table and just lit up their cigarettes. We asked for a bottle of wine and they then brought a glass, dropping it on the table and walking... More

We used to love this little place. During our last visit, for almost two hours they were not able to get any of the dishes we ordered, and did a very poor job communicating the issues. Regretfully, we will not be going back there anytime soon.

We've visited Tel Aviv for three days. on the second day we got there and came back the next. Amazing atmosphere! Great food and cool locals. Come early or make reservations as it may be crowded.

What I like the most about this place is the setting. The terrace is beautiful and intimate, different from other overly-manicured places in Tel Aviv. The food is good, although not very consistent. A nice and different experience overall.

Tasty, tasty tasty. Fun place to go, had a good feeling and is full of women eyeing each other. Being straight, I enjoyed it very much, the food is excellent and kind of homely yet sophisticated. You need to come early otherwise the dishes on the menu sell out

We really liked the place and every dish made us smile: Mediterranean style. We had the calamares, wine leave lasagna. The menu is in hebrew only but the waiter took the time on a buzy friday evening to explain everything. Do not expect a classic dinner setting but a lively local vibe where you take your friends! Prices are around... More

I went to Joz ve Loz expecting a lot, since I heard about it from so many people for so long. We sat in the outdoor courtyard, and selected our dishes from the Hebrew-only menu (which was actually sort of refreshing). I ordered a starter salad with tomatoes and basil, and for my main a shrimp crepe with peanut sauce.... More

Friendly waiter translated entire hebrew menu to english (every dish) for us. The staff in general were very welcoming and very helpful giving us a slice of pie to try for free when no-one could provide the translation for the type of fruit inside. Dishes were creative and fresh, made with local produce. Atmosphere was nice. Go early for a... More
