I went there with a few friends after I heard a lot of good things about their schnitzels. In addition, after my recent Berlin trip I wanted a good schnitzel. We tried the Pork schnitzel while another friend got the Fatush. The schnitzel: not juicy as they claimed and actually mediocre. for 67(!) shekels I expect more. For what we... More

We celebrated my birthday here with a couple of friends. It was packed when we arrived! The restaurant definitely has the "bistro" atmosphere. The service is very good and the food delicious. We started our meal with the grilled tuna and carpaccio - excellent. The guys chose the entrecote steaks while we girls went for grilled sea bream - beautifully... More

I live in Herzelia and usually eat at the wonderful daughter restaurant: sebastian. Yesterday we came for the first time to the Tel Aviv original and got our money worth. Excelent dishes, attentive waitresses and a great dinner. One of the bedt restaurants in Tel Aviv and the best shnitzel in Israel.

Cafe Noir is famous for it's schnitzels, so because of that, it's the only thing I ever have when I go there. And the schnitzel is indeed amazing, so I would recommend everyone who likes schnitzel to try it! But other people who I've dined with here say the rest of the food is pretty good too. Nice atmosphere, service... More

Every few months I enjoy going to Cafe Noir. Consistent and good, although it can be a bit pricey. The service is almost always excellent. However, one comment for some reason when telling us about the daily specials (we were seated far away from the board where they are written) our server did not tell us the prices and we... More

Since I'm not a big town dweller, I regard any night out in TA as a treat. And dining out with a couple of friends, Cafe Noir was a excellent choice - great food, professional service, wonderful ambience.

Only almost perfect because I didn't have an espresso after my lunch. I did have the denise with pumpkin rissoto, a glass of Israeli chardonnay and a mini chocolate mouse. Total bill was 132 nis (about $35) and well worth it. Everything was perfectly cooked, the service correct and professional. I'm already trying to figure out when I can go... More
