Our experience started abysmally but improved over the course of the meal. This is a Kosher Asian Fusion restaurant in the midst of the interesting and somewhat hip German Colony area of Jerusalem. My wife and I each order a bowl of chicken dumpling soup --- avoid this whatever you do! The soup itself tasted like dishwater and while the... More

The best asian fusion in Jerusalem with interesting flavours and combinations. This is not a cheap place but good for a celebration or a more complex meal than the simple grills that most others serve. The waiting staff are also pleased to serve you - another contrast with many others.

I raved about this place before, but I hate it when there is a change in management/chef/menu and the customer is none the wiser...So, the menu changed, the food is fine, not as good as before, but the prices are now ridiculously high and are not what I would consider value for money anymore. Also, they are not flexible with... More

I've been to this restaurant three or four times in the last few years and it's always ok, or not bad, or fine. Some of the dishes are pretty creative and some are not great; some of the portions are quite generous, while some leave you wanting more. The service is always friendly and the prices are reasonable. You may... More

Wonton soup? Not really. Salty soup, goey wonton. Spring roll dripping with oil. Pasty dim sum with questionable fillings. Indifferent service. Not my idea of a good Chinese meal.

Ate there several times before, Yesterday returned with Family , 11 all together, for Dinner. Menu has been changed - new dishes and new updated prices - more expensive. Service was slow even though it was the middle of the week. Salads were tasty, Main courses also. Sushi is too expensive and so are the deserts in my view. Atomosphere... More

Eaten there over last few years, and loved it, but this week's return and newer menu less wonderful. My mother's sesame chicken salad only okay, my lemongrass chicken soup overpowering, my husband's wonton soup underwhelming, my son the sushi lover actually left over the TNT. Fish and chips was terrific tho. So, not sure if restaurant was experiencing an off... More

Being a picky eater, I was concerned about eating in Israel. I had no need to feel this wasy. RYU, on Jerusalem's Emik Rafa'am Street was wonderful. It serves kosher Asian food - we started with a chicken liver egg roll- which was delicious, and got better. For me that meant a steak, and for my wife it meant sushi.... More

great selection and execution on a variety of dishes in this kosher meat restaurant- one dish a bit too salty, but that is likely because I use little myself in my cooking- tasty fresh veggies with beef, chicken, etc. and a lovely duck appetizer too- would return gladly
