I spotted the comments here about the beef wellington and thought I would give it a try. The cafe is in a single shop house unit and is nicely laid out with plenty of space between the tables. Being on my own I arrived for an early dinner at just after 7 and there were plenty of tables available (the... More

Went to this comfortable little restaurant after reading the reviews on trip advisor and was not disappointed. The service was pleasant, the restaurant cosy and the food very tasty. I had the gasi noreng which was really tasted and came with delicious chicken skewers and prawn crackers. My boyfriend had the Khmer curry which was loaded with flavour. We both... More

The chat n chew became one of our favourite hang outs during our stay in PP. The food here is amazing and ridiculously good value. Enjoyed everything we ate but especially the chicken breast stuffed with spinach, cheese, ham, served with your choice of potatoes done every way, veggies and your choice of about 5 sauces... but get the kampot... Cant fault this place whilst not overly amazing, food is nice and service good. Price of food is on par with other places in the vicinity. For somewhere safe, this is one of those.spots

Just back after having dinner here. Stumbled across it by accident, but it looked good and there were quite a few diners already there, unlike a lot nearby. DH had the wok fried chicken with kampot pepper and veg while I went for the Khmer curry. Two glasses of wine (good quality) and the total bill came to $12, with... More

Chat and Chew has a new menu with great new items! Duck Breast w orange sauce with crispy skin and orange reduction is so good. I really liked the crab and sweet corn soup. The salsa is very very tasty on the new quesadillas. As always they continue to have the best beef filet from Argentina and all the old... More

My wife and I were very pleased with this restaurant. No problems noted and the food and service were excellent. Good value for the money!

This was by far the best restaurant I have visited in Phnom Penh. The food was well prepared, service outstanding and all for a great value. The only problem is that this restaurant is soo good that it is hard to find a table at times. I highly recommend this for anyone seeking good quality at a low price.

We would never order western food in Asia unless someone really recommends it. Went for lunch here first, really good, had Asian food. And another guest said we had to try the beef Wellington. We went back the same night and tried it with pepper sauce. Delicious!!! So good and perfectly cooked rare. Would highly recommend it. Cost 9 dollars.... More

The Chat'n Chew was the first restaurant we tried on this street. It was packed with two large parties, but we were squeezed in. Because of other TripAdvisor reviews, we had the Beef Wellington - it was delicious, as were the scalloped potatoes and the vegetables. We were pleasantly surprised at all the options offered for this reasonably priced dish.
