After reading reviews i thought this place would be great instead i got the wrong order tgree times and third time the puzza wasnt even fully cooked was so disappointed.
Not sure how this place has earned a #12 ranking on restaurants in Hue. After reading misleading positive reviews - and needing a break from Vietnamese food - we went for dinner during our stay in Hue in November, 2013. What a disappointment. Great food, great service, with friendly happy staff who are up for a laugh if you make the effort. The food was fresh, but not overly filling, however I was starving, but certainly a nice clean little restaurant with a good atmosphere.
The food was delicious with large portions. The free beer and bruschetta were a nice bonus and fruit for dessert.
Great little restaurant. We shared three mains. Beautiful fish and good pasta. Lemongrass chicken skewers are excellent. Make sure you go happy hour and get the freebies.
We took a short walk from our hotel and decided to try this place without hearing anything about it. We had grilled shrimps and the best chips in Asia. Tired of vietnamese food, we gave it a try at Zucca restaurant, got free bruschetta as a starter, then pasta alfredo and my friend got carbonara. The pasta was cooked al dente and the sauce was also good. I wouldnt say like italian but reasonably good! :-)
If you are in Hue and need food then you should go here. It is that simple. The unassuming front, a little tatty from the road, is almost a cliché but the food is perfect - delicious throughout and good portions for very low prices; We went as a 4 and had 2 courses with 3 or 4 beers each,... More
