Read about KOTO in Lonely Planet and then on TA. Lived up to all expectations. Staff were delightful - and yes it adds something knowing that you are helping support the establishment that is helping them. Food top quality. Very clean (bathrooms nice !) Would come back here anytime. Found it great value for money - not sure of reviews... More

Is it just me or does the food taste a little bit better, the beer a little bit cooler and the mojito a little bit mintier knowing that just by eating here you are helping former street kids to have a new start in life as they learn how to make a living in the catering industry. A great great... More

What a fantastic restaurant...beautiful food and amazing service. We tried the burgers (for the kids!) and some vietnamese dishes and they were all delicious. I would highly recommend a meal at this restaurant. A lovely feeling that you also get from supporting the disadvantaged children who work here.

It's not pricey by western standards, in fact it would be considered good value as our meal of two drinks, a salad and a bun bo nam bo cost less than USD12. However by local standard, its about double the normal price, the bun bo nam bo cost 110k dong compared by 55k at a local restaurant. Nearly all the... More

Visited this café several times while I was in Hanoi. Couple of times as part of a tour group and once voluntarily. Each time the food was tasty and well presented. The staff were, in the main well trained, and when they weren't sure, they checked with someone else (It is a teaching establishment - Know One Teach One). I... More

This restaurant is located next to the Temple of Literature (side walk). They served really nice Bun Cha (a Vietnamese food - grilled pork with vegetables and rice noOdle) and bun bo nam bo. Great food with affordable price.

The food at Koto is incredible! we were fresh off the plane in crazy Hanoi, we instantly fell in love with the vietnamese food. The service is excellent. I recommend it anyone wanting authentic vietnamese food.
