We have just been to this restaurant as after a few weeks in Vietnam we felt like eating something different. Having tried many good curries in London, we were very disappointed by the overall experience. Our dishes lacked of any depth of flavour, the four small pieces of chicken I had were dry, uninteresting and just salty. The sauces were... More

I visit quite frequently. A great option for a breakaway from noodles and sticky rice. They even do home delivery for those lazy nights on the sofa and a DVD. As for the food, I have never yet had anything other than a delicious meal at a bargain price. The decor and ambiance is good and the owner is most... More

When travelling my wife and I try to eat the local cuisine as much as possible-part of the experience of the trip. However, sometimes for a change we try something different and so pleased we found this place. Ended up eating there 3 times and on each occasion the food was fantastic. The owner walks around asking if you are... More

Wouldn't normally go to an Indian restaurant unless l was in India of course but because l was travelling with a vegetarian we actively looked for a Indian in Hanoi & this place is recommended by Lonely Planet. Basically it was abit hit & miss and certainly nowhere near as good as the Indian food l've had in India but... More

Very tasty, all types of meat and vegetarian dishes. Try lessi - drinking yoghurt - good when you eat spicy food. Average priced - we payed $34 for a dinner for two. P.S. check the map in advance - taxi drivers know nothing in Hanoi :(

The best Indian outside of India we have had, and the price was so cheap, food and service just outstanding.

Had dinner there last night with a group of friends and the service was appalling! we had trouble attracting the attention of the staff, they seemed to completely ignore us! Food was average. Indian food in Hanoi is generally disappointing - where's the flavour?

For couple of days i was bit worried as this was place which made me book my hotel d' laopera, and it was just next door. Bur to my surprise it had closed down. Luckily I later on discovered that they had moved to a nearby block in a big and better place. Ambiance has undergone change for good but... More

As I have said before on Tripadvisor, if you want good Indian food you have to go to India or to London! . I personally think that in Hanoi, Vietnam, you are better off dining in the street food places of the Old Quarter than in this brightly lit but dismal place! This place happened to be next door to...
