I went for a business lunch at Haandi and was very please with the experience I encountered. The Curries were very well spiced in true indian tradition and the service was of a quality I am yet to receive elsewhere in Kampala. Great experience!

This is a favorite restaurant of ours in Kampala and they have a fast food restaurant in the mall which is as good as the fancier restaurant in town. Service is fast and the food wonderful. Highly recommend if you like Indian food and also some spicy dishes. We have seen this restaurant to be very consistent in quality over...

I had always planned to try out Haandi back in Nairobi but never got to do it so I decided to try it out in Kampala and was not disappointed. Great Indian food, great service.
After a walk through bustling down town Kampala this restaurant is peacefully situated on the 1st floor overlooking Kampala Rd. The Northern Indian menu has most of the usual items - I had the Roganjosh which was good and my first (I think) experience of goat meat. The service is typical of Kampala - friendly and efficient.
I think this restaurant has deteriorated. Its not nearly as good as it was a few years ago. Its certainly not the best restaurant in Kampala anymore. If you want the best Chicken Tikka Massala in town - go to the Khyber Pass restaurant at the Speke Hotel. Its great. In contrast the same dish at Haandi is very ordinary.
Quality and varied, a must if Indian food is what you enjoy, they rotate their staff across sister outlets in India and the UK. Location out of place to what's offered inside.
Beautiful indian restaurant. serve rice in a bucket. very artistic. Good Food, Good ambiance. Recommend highly .
Haandi ranks amongst the best Indian restaurants in the world. An interesting menu, top quality food, open kitchen and first rate service. Location is unusual, in an office block and its fairly expensive. But you get what you pay for. We will be back.
Excellent Indian Food..Value for money and very fast service...Don't forget to order Non-Veg platter, it is yummy..(order half..it is sufficient for 4 people as starter or 2 people as full meal)
Went to Haandis a couple of times in january and february 2013. Food still excellent. I was there last time I visited Kampala 4 years ago and everything is still very indian (and yes I have been to India a couple of times) and the prices are fair. As I went with my mother who used a wheelchair it was...
