Had lunch on outdoor deck, which is a fun option in addition to large main room and smaller back room. The deck overlooks the Fox River and the Hollywood Casino, a nice view. There also used to be very private "booths" on the west side of the establishment which were also great but those were not available this time. Seating... More

Decent enough food. The huge dining room lacks warmth and ambiance and is very loud. Look for the back rooms and the snugs where it's a little more like an Irish pub. The boxty and burgers are very good.

It is not often that a bar is the size of city block. The location and set up is really cool. However the service here is unacceptable. Whoever runs this place must make a ton of money because this bar has been grossly understaffed for years. A new low at lunch on a Saturday when tables were filled with dirty... More

My wife and I stop here often for lunch during the week. Always quiet, good food and excellent service.

Our family went to Ballydoyle's Sunday night and 30 minutes after getting our drinks were still waiting to have our order taken. The waiter thought he should serve all his tables drinks at one time and then take all the orders at the same time. We and a couple other tables ended up leaving and going somewhere else. Generally the... More

The food is very good. The problem is the wait staff is very slow. It doesn't matter if they are busy or slow, plan on your meal taking at least 1 hour (Even if it is a salad)

Food was good and the atmosphere was great, the service was a bit slow. Overall a good experience, I love having a couple of beers at this place.

We went here for the first time to see a Metallica cover band Saturday night (Jan 26th 2013). The band was awesome by the way - Blackened. 5 stars for sure. As far as the restaurant, the food prices were ok - about $10-$12 per person. I had the fish & chips which I thought was great. My girlfriend had... More

This is a Irish pub around the corner from the Paramount Theater. The staff was great! Plenty of seats

We stopped by tonight before going to the Paramount theater. Disappointed to say the least. My friends ordered the fish and chips and I ordered corned beef and cabbage with red potatoes. They brought my corned beef and cabbage ..without the cabbage! When i pointed this out, he grabbed my plate and took it away. He brought it back minus... More
