Tourist trap. Everything was smothered in fake cheese. I would never recommend that anyone go to this restaurant.

We love this place. The food is really good and the location is awesome! Especially for the chicken drop on Thursday nights.

My wife and I ate at Caliente's twice while in Belize, and were not disappointed. The food, which is Tex-Mex with a heavy dose of fresh seafood options, was always fresh and tasty. The guacomole was especially good with fresh chips (and a little of the Mari Sharpe's habenero sauce).

We had a great dinner at Caliente. Nice walk on the beach from the Phoenix and it wasn't crowed at the time we went around 6:30pm. Title pretty much says it all. The food was excellet. Whe most of the menu is more Mexican, we opted for the fresh fish items. Although while the food is great, the service is a little slow, so make sure you have plenty of time.
