This is definitely a fine dining atmosphere, the inside was lovely however we chose to sit outside on the screened in pier, also very nice. Our waitress was very sweet and helpful. i got the crabcakes and my husband got the sirlion with cheese grits (they were out of mashed potatos) not a fan of the grits, but then again...

We love eating here! We visit her often, and never had bad service. Food is to die for, and always fresh tasting. There is five of us, and we can't wait to get back for Memorial Day.....

We were staying at the hotel next door, and not having a very good experience. However, the breakfasts were taken at this restaurant, therefore we can't rate the value. It was very nice, nothing special but they are served until 1pm, so great for a brunch. The best thing about the place was the view on the river (and road...

Food was superb and the view was fantastic. Opt for the fried shrimp and crab cakes! Looking at the water and eating superb food was wonderful. Waitress was mediocre but even she could not spoil the meal!

Pam 9508, Thanks for your kind review. Our shrimp are extra jumbo and when frying it is imperative to leave the tails on or the moisture will leave the shrimp and they will shrink. Angela Bryant is our waitstaff supervisor at Caroline's and she will pick the best of the waitstaff that are trained. Sorry if that was not up...

This is our First time to come to apalachicola . we have enjoyed the laid back atmosphere. everyone has been very pleasant and helpful. Seafood, oysters, crab cake still excellent but why did they stop having scallops? They were one of my favorite things on the seafood sampler. They had the best Creme brûlée & now they don't have it anymore. If they cut out anything else it won't be our favorite anymore & there are usually at least 6 of us dining sometimes...

This is one of our "go to" places for extravagant breakfast. This time. I had an oyster omlet with fried potatoes and a bloody mary. My wife had pancakes with bacon and a mimosa. It was all very good.
