Description: The Little Nell's latest restaurant revives soulful American cuisine with a distinctive, artistic flair. Savor contemporary cooking infused with seasonal ingredients; Toast a mining town’s heritage with a glass of Colorado beer or spirits, or select from a Burgundy-rich wine list with assistance from an expert Sommelier. Element 47's sleek design creates a memorable dining ambience, highlighted by a large-scale art installation and glass wine wall -- a subtle nod to a prestigious and award-winning wine list. Indulge in breakfast, lunch or dinner at Element 47, and experience world-class, personal service in an approachable and timeless alpine environment. The talents of Executive Chef Robert McCormick and Master Sommelier Jonathan Pullis, who oversees a 15,000 bottle private wine cellar, combine to create a very special meal. Element 47, formerly Montagna, is the recipient of Wine Spectator's Grand Award and is available for private events.

I had not been to the previous restaurant at the Little Nell so I am not able to compare them. Despite that I think it would be hard to top the experience I had at Element 47. The staff was over the top and very very helpful. We had a small group in the back of the restaurant and the... More

The redo of the restaurant at the Little Nell has been a huge success in our opinion. We have stayed at the hotel for years, but never ate at the restaurant. We decided to try it after the recent renovation. Everything was perfect. The food, the service, the atmosphere. Our server, Eric Silkman, was very knowledgeable and friendly. Try the... More

This place was a amazing. Very easy to get to as well since it was in our hotel. We are early birds and at dinner at 6pm. Hostess was a bit slow but that was the only negative. Ambiance was amazing as we set outside. The waitstaff was attentive. The food was divine. I had the chicken and my wife... More

This is one place you CANNOT miss. The food is PERFECT. I ate here with a group, and there was not one single item that was not outstanding. We tried a wide variety of starters, main courses and desserts, and no one could pick the favorite bc it was all great! Make sure this one is top on your list!

On our road trip back east we stopped through Aspen for a night to visit my best friend & godchildren. We arrived late & it is inbetween seasons. But they were happy to serve us in the bar, which we didn't mind. Ordered the oysters which were exceptional as always. Remembering how much we both had loved the steak tartare,... More

The food quality, preparation, presentation and creativity were truly outstanding. They clearly made every plate a work of art. The service on the other hand was distracted and inexperienced. The maitre d' and somolier seemed were likely pro's but were focused elsewhere. When we ordered only a modestly expensive wine they were on to other things. The waiters and bar... More

We visited Element 47 on the last night of our recent trip to Aspen. It was a great end to the week. The hostesses were lovely and welcoming and our server and her assistant were excellent. The service was attentive but unobtrusive and they were great at making recommendations. I had the sea bass and the beet salad. Both were... More

We have gone to Element 47 many times this ski season. Great menu, great service, great ambiance, and comfortable. Almost ski in, and the hostess is happy to supply us with Little Nell slippers so that we can take our ski boots off while we have lunch. We often chat to the same people we always see having lunch as... More

Element 47 is a real gem of a restaurant. Great ambience, once you get past the crowded bar scene. Super service, very attentive. The meal choices are great, the presentation among the top 1% of any restaurant I have been to. Our party dined on pork 3 ways, lobster, truffles, sea bass...and there were freebies of apps (goat cheese puff... More
