Great food and service. The staff was amazing and very friendly. It's too bad they ever moved from their first location, the Carlton Hotel is jinxed. They had to close the doors.

This was a birthday celebration, we had made reservations for 7:30. That evening a special was a meat lasagne however, it was no longer available, which disappointed four of our group of 8. For as busy as it was that evening it seemed a little odd to be out of the special by that time. Three of us had their... More

Owner Natalie created two party menus for our 20 friends, and was so easy to work with. Food was very good, especially the salmon and fillet combo. Sunday brunch is great and an incredible value. Locals should eat there regularly!

Too many excuses to count on why the service was terrible, the menu items unavailable. Clearly, one of the worst experiences I have had in recent memory!!!

After moving to the Carlton, they've definitely come into their own. Food is good quality and fairly priced. Ambiance of the location is fitting for the presentation of their gourmet-esque fare. Price is in line with the location and quality.

Colby Jack Cafe features many breakfast options (including croissants, quiches, etc.), pastries, desserts, and sandwiches. There is some outside seating in the back of the restaurant as well. The food is good but way too expensive for what you get.

Food is good, but not great. People love this place, but I think it is overpriced and the fare is just average. I guess for Atascadero it is OK.

Had dinner with my husband here after deciding I was too tired to cook. The menu is small which may be a good thing but I can't decide. I would have liked for there to have been some dishes that are more simply prepared on the menu-like maybe roast chicken or spaghetti. Since I wanted something simple, we went with... More

The food is good and the setting is beautiful. Great coffee and excellent service. It is pricey though.

The cafe/bakery is attached to the hotel and part of the restaurant in the hotel. We had breakfast at the restaurant all three mornings and enjoyed it very much. The menu isn't huge...but the offerings are varied and the price is right.
