Hard to beat for a quick breakfast - excellent choices of coffee, pastry. Also, this was right around the corner from our hotel (Mamaison Budapest).
Went for lunch here on a Saturday. Made it before the rush and enjoyed a hot sandwich and delicious coffee. There were seating issues, and feel it could do with a layout rethink, as there were a number of large tables being taken up by individual or pairs of students not eating or drinking.
I had the prosciutto sandwich and a brownie for lunch. The sandwich was tasty and juicy while the brownie was dense and thick. Cool environment, good food, fresh drinks. Too bad for the nice, but slow service... Also I do understand it's an eco friendly place, but as in any restaurant, I would like to be able to use a... More
It's unfortunate that the Eco Cafe is a victim of its own success. We used to go when it was mostly empty because it had nice food and good coffee. It also had good wifi. Unfortunately they haven't changed the layout, so now half the place can be filled up permanently by a handful of students doing their thesis on... More
Thank you tripadviser with out your help we wouldnt have found this great place for our morning coffee and pastries. Must try "half moon almond". Friendly staff and good prices.
A very nice and friendly coffee shop with excellent selection of coffees and specialty coffee drinks. A nice selection of pastries. All very excellenty priced. The young woman behind the counter spoke great English and served with a smile, what else can you possibly ask for.
Very nice, casual place, with excellent selection of organic coffee. It's not so big, so sometimes you'll be having trouble to find a free table. There are few tables outside, but Andrássy út is very near, so it can be to noisy for relaxing. If you are hungry, there is a nice selection of fresh organic tasty sandwiches, pastry and... More
We were in Budapest on a day trip from Vienna. Our tour guide brought us here for a quick lunch. Excellent sandwiches and selection of pastries and drinks. Staff was English speaking and very service oriented.
This place is near house of terror and has very froendly staff, tasty breads for sandwiches and delicious cafe. I visited on my way to Hero's square and enjoyed so much to go back for breakfast. The place also has free wifi.
Great English spoken. Love organic coffee and juices! Free WIFI good. Wish menu was larger, but works well for a small bite and drink stop.
