With less than half of the tables occupied, waiting time for two steaks was about an hour. The waitress was very friendly however.

Not far from the center and at the same time in a very quite place. Friendly and ready to help waiters. Menu is interesting and made an expression of not usual for Ljubljana. Need to mention that menu is not written) Waiter is your menu))) main dishes are wonderful and you have to pay for them, however starters and desserts...

Nice place without pretentiousness. Good quality dishes for fair prices. I had a zucchinni soup and roast beef as main. Wine only costs 1,2 euro. Total amount on the bill was 20,20. Pretty weird music was playing, sort of spooky modern jazz.
Dinner at Pri Skofu, an out-of-the-way local restaurant that makes its dishes with fresh local ingredients. It has no written menu; you select from the options described by your server. One of our dishes was home-made gnocchi with a cream truffle sauce that was outstanding. The server suggested a glass of wine with with each of the three courses. We...

What a find - great service, very reasonable price, great food....we went 3 times enjoying steak (tender, well cooked- we asked for rare and got rae, lvoely sauces), gnocchi (best ever), salads (really fresh and tender - ask for pumpkin seed oil) and...

It's south of the old town a couple of blocks (follow the river until you get to the street if walking) on a little side street.
Monika, our server, spoke excellent...

This restaurant certainly does not have a charming location – in a quiet residential street where locals walk their dogs and take out their recycling. But nonetheless it was atmospheric and authentic and an unforgettable meal in Slovenia.
For starters I had a squid salad, which was basic but nice enough. My partner had the pumpkin soup, which he enjoyed but...

Cute and charming location outside. We had the pumpkin soup to start and it was very mediocre. It was runny and watery and not at all like a puree as we had expected. The rump steak which is their classic was, on the other hand, just delicious. The wine was also excellent and the service was terrific. But for the...

The restaurant is a little away from the centre down a quiet back street, but still only 5 - 10 mines walk from town centre. We turned up without reservation and sat outside with no problem. Spoken menu by fluent English speaking waitress. The food was excellent with nice quiet relaxed ambiance. Worth asking prices of dishes before you order...
