We found this authentic Polish restaurant on our last night pity we didn't find it sooner. What a great atmosphere, wonderful Polish food (And a lot of it), Good price,The waiter who was polish scouser was very entertaining. You have got to visit the Loo as that is an experiece in itself (in a good way). Just a wonderful evening... More

this is truly a great and interesting little spot to pop over for a bite or just a beer. We actually went there for drinks and ended up coming back later that night for dessert. I recommend the honey beer and the apple pie...you just want more. The atmosphere is highly complimentary to the setting of Poland and it feels... More

Unusual eerie atmosphere created by restaurant being entirely lit by candles and the big clunky wooden chairs and tables add to the gothic feel. Good choice of dishes for each of the courses. We had one main from the “Nobleman’s menu” which we were told was better quality (and consequently more expensive!) and one from the ordinary menu. To be... More

Right on the main square but still excellent quality and price. An example of the fact that there are many excellent restaurants in the city center of Krakow even though in many cities there would only be tourist traps. Nice atmosphere, felt like an old tavern.

Have wondered into this restaurant by complete chance and loved it. This restaurant has been made to resemble a medieval Polish eating/drinking stop – it is fully lit by candlelight, creating a romantic but slightly eerie atmosphere. Partly set on the ground floor, and party in the basements – it has a number of hidden rooms, each one with a... More

We had a large group of people and about 5 more than planned...they had to change out all the chairs to fit more people and they did it with a smile. The food is supposed to be medieval...guess it is, seems like traditional polish to me but it was very good and tasty. The atmosphere is medieval as well, not... More

We came across this by chance on our last night in Poland. The atmosphere was fantastic. The restaurant has a medieval theme and all staff are dressed in costume. The food was the best we had ever eaten. The staff were very friendly and took time to explain what the dishes consisted of. It was a great experience and well... More

We enjoyed this restaurant so much we ate there twice, and my partner who is living in Kraków for 6 months now takes everyone she knows there. It's a fantastic restaurant. By far the highlight of the menu is the venison pierogi with a sundried tomato sauce on a bed of rocket (Z jelenia na rucoli z sosem z suszonych... More

Located right on ther Main Market, my wife and I stopped in here initially only a refreshment. We lovbed the atmosphere and staff so much we ended up having perogies (dumplings) and pumpkin soup: both home made, both excellent. We sat in the front near the bar so had great seats near the duet playing violin and guitar providing an... More
