I had the snails followed by veal jowell and my wife had rabbit, both of which were excellent. While the restaurant is expensive for Czech if you come with gbp in your pocket it actually represents great value and the service is excellent.

I had dinner two evening in this restourant. It's located in the heart of Olomouc.
Very pretty this characteristic restaurant, with its old style.
I have always taken meat with vegetables: roast beef, spicy strips of Argentina's meat, breaded chicken stuffed with melted cheese.
I have always been satisfied. Very good the Pilsner Urquell beer.
Good the service, very courteous...

Very good food, outstanding service especially compared to the rest of the country. Not cheap, though worth the money. The atmosphere is a plus, there are folk objects embedded into the walls and folk music in background.
This restaurant had mixed reviews but my experience was very pleasing, I started with a garlic soup with ham & quails eggs --good & strong but best taken if your companion also likes garlic.
I had an expensive (£8) main course consisting of very genereous helpings of duck, rabbit & nicely smoked ham with the inevitable dumplings & shredded pickled...

Stayed three days in Olomouc and ate many meals here. The better they get to know you, the finer the service. The food is top notch with many choices. You can eat outside on the square or inside. The price is the same, the food is the same. Very, very good, but don't stop here expecting a cheap feed.
We have tried 5 or 6 "better" restaurants in Olomouc and this is absolutely the best. Very good food, professional and friendly service(probably only one in Olomouc). If you want to enjoy nice dinner, go there. If you want to save money, choose another reataurant. At the end you have to try excellent home made slivovitz!
I just returned from lunch at Moravska Restaurace. My meal started with Olomouke Prkynko a platter of local meat and cheese followed by wild boar steak and finally Turkish coffee. No wine or sweet but...

It isn't the cheapest but for character and quality of food and service a night here is a most in the attractive old town centre of this small town in Moravia, internationally it would rate as a bargain
