The setting is original, the service is correct and polite the food is Czech mc Donald with pretense of gourmet.

Appears to be a genuine old tavern in the lovely town of Kutna Hora but with large garden and plenty of eating areas.Very good local food with prompt efficient and friendly service. We had a substantial lunch and delicious with beers for 17.70 euros excellent value.

The menu here is huge, with a vast array of options, including many game dishes. I had venison, and others had the game goulash and the boar, all of them wonderful. If you don't like smoke, there is seating outside, including a few covered tables, plus a large non-smoking area further into the dining room. It's not obvious that the... More

Without a doubt the tastiest goulash we had in Prague (I think I had it at least three times in four days!!!). I had the wild boar with the most beautifully tasty gingerbread dumplings. The beer was also refreshing (and I don't even like beer!). The building itself is tucked away but well worth the search. The main hall has... More

The restaurant was tucked away in a quiet alley. The main dining hall certainly felt like it had a lot of history. I had the roast pork goulash. The tastiest food I had eaten in prague! The dumplings contained morsels of smoked meat - yum! The only downside was that there was a large group of French teenagers who all... More

While on a tour of Kutna Hora, the group stopped to eat at Dacicky Pavnice for a late lunch. It is hidden in an alley, yet has managed to stay in operation for over 600 years (as a brewery). We were starving, so I was looking forward to eating anything. I ordered the Pork tenderloin in some sort of cream... More

Although they originally forgot our order this was all forgiven when the food arrived. The town it is in is in our opinion a bit of a dive. But the food was incredible. We had gingerbread dumplings with wild boar goulash and the turkey with potatoe and plum crocketts. Just incredible and beer was superb. Worth te visit from Prague... More

The food was awesome and so reasonable. We were staying in Prague and we went to the restaurant on a day visit. I had the Pasta with wild Mushroom Sauce and have been craving the mushroom sauce ever since.
