Service was pleasant but the food was basically from Sam's Club, all the apetizers (antojitos) came right out of the Sam's Club box and the food was poorly prepared (the asopao was basically stewed tomatoes and rice with some floating shrimp. Dispaointed

For tourists looking to escape the crowd and have a low-key kind of dinner. Kind of off the tourist track, I've only been there during the week & had steak, rice and beans and tostones and it was good. average prices - around $10 pp

We were staying at the rio mar villas down the street so decided to try some local food. The service was very slow (slower than other places). The food was good, but nothing outstanding. It was a good atmosphere and the prices were reasonable.

Food average at best, went for lunch- service was pretty slow, My wife and I had seafood dishes- she did not care for hers (shrimp) mine (grouper) was pretty good. Kids, had kid stuff-cannot remember-but nothing special. Atmosphere and people were the highlight.

Within walking distance of our hotel. We ate outside on the patio. The waiter (owner ?) was friendly. We had Mahi Mahi topped with yummy local peppers & onions. The meal was very good & reasonably priced.

Great looking place from the outside, but once your inside its not as nice. Food was cold and took a really long time to be served. The family (7) children all got sick from the Mofongo, that night. Returning locals got all the quality attention. Drinks where served in plastic cups. We had to continously request items such as napkins.... More

Had the best churrasco skirt steak with tamarind sauce. Delicious. My husband and daughter enjoyed their meals. The wait was a bit long, but I think it is because they make everything from scratch. Definitely worth the wait.

Do not go here. The food is mediocre at best. What really kills the place is the attitude. The waitress clearly didn't like Americans. Thirty minutes after arriving she informed us that one of our choices was unavailable. That meant they hadn't even started. About 45 minutes later, she grudgingly plopped our food down. We had to beg for more... More
