We called in for lunch. it was very cosy by the open fire on a very wet day. Our food was good, but really it was a bit on the expensive side for a pub lunch. Having said that this is Arrowtown and everything is expensive. Would we eat here again, no I dont think so, plenty of other places... More

We have had meals at this hotel several times and enjoy their evening roast dinners in particular. They are well presented, tasty, and in a tourist venue, good value for money.

We ordered three - one with anchovies and chicken , one with no anchovies but with chicken and one... More

Just travelled through this really great little town and had a nice cold drink + an awesome meal at the New Orleans Hotel! - Friendly staff, good menu, lots of nice places to sit and even the possibility to stay over night for a moderate price. It's in the middle of Arrowtowns mainstreet, with a balcony towards the river (trees... More

We visited as a group of golfers to watch some rugby and have some food. We found the service to be very good and the food choices were great. We had a selection of Bluff oysters (some cooked), whitebait fritters, blue cod and spare ribs. The food was delicious and met our expectations. Outside they have a firepit when is... More

Enjoyed a couple of drinks here after a wedding and before the wedding breakfast. Was a beautiful autumn day so we were able to sit outside in the sunshine on the deck. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Menus looked good - prices seemed reasonable - may eat there on another visit to Arrowtown.
