Great deli food and coffee in a perfect location. Fast service to take out or sit in. Cakes looked great too!
A number of us from work had breakfast here this morning (have been before). They handled 10 of us no problem. One of our group has a health issue that restricts what he can eat and they had no trouble coping with his requested changes. My eggs Benedict with salmon had plenty of salmon and at $17 was an average... More
Was just about the only place open early Monday morning after the whale watch tour got cancelled. They have all day breakfast, but keep in mind the eggs are microwaved not cooked fresh so probably a good place for coffee but not real food. Staff at register was friendly when taking the order, cook was pretty grumpy when she brought... More
It's easy to almost miss this cafe as its a little further along the main stretch of shops, but it is an excellent find. The food that we had (clam chowder and mince and cheese pies) was just divine! It was good quality, competitive price and excellent service. Fully recommend eating here if you are in Kaikoura.

The best one I have eaten was at this cafe, I think it was with Walnuts/Pecans (I remember they had an alternative variation there too), it was DELICIOUS, and really reasonably priced for a huge piece!!!!
I went to the Why Not recently with a group of friends, there were 13 of us altogether. We sat out in the courtyard area and had a long happy lunch date. The staff could not have been more attentive, were friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. I had the fish meal and it was huge. There were... More
I had a very nice egg and toast breakfast with a cup of drip coffee. The I had a steak and cheese pie and it was fantastic. I hear from one of the other folks at breakfast that the sausage roll was the best that he had on the trip.
it was nice to get here and be able to buy a great variety of food. Me and my son ate lunch than took back chicken pizza to heat up in the microwave. so worth it, it was delicious. Cakes and hotdogs just melt in your mouth. Whilst strolling down the main street be sure to call in for a... More
