Nice view of the bay. Pleasant staff. Food was fine but nothing exceptional. Reasonably priced. Parking across the road was helpful as not much space in front of the pub.

Great if you like chips - why do they have to be a staple fare on a plate. Other choices would be cool. Nice spot for kids to play. The NZ wine was excellent.

We often go from Whangarei out to this pub for lunch or dinner. Lovely relaxed atmosphere with great views. The food is simple but always fresh and delicious. Something for everyone, great for families.
