We like this place for its simple and always tasty food. I can't remember how many time we've been there, but food was always good. We don't even look at the other restaurants in the area since we've discovered this place.

Had a great lunch here, had a beef burger and it was awesome, one of the best i've had, staff were good and fast,nice western theme to the place. Will definitely return again.

Our family ate here. Kids meals were inedible ("hot dogs" were battered sausages which were deep fried), roast of the day was grissly with soggy overlooked vegetables. If you like fresh, home cooked style food this is not the place. Serves were very large.

Special beef or lamb dinner on Sunday night was the best deal we had in New Zealand. Pub like food and atmosphere with a few tables in an upstairs alcove. Friendly staff.

we dined here on two separate occasions while staying in te anau. The place was packed on both nights, but that just added to the cool, laid-back atmosphere. We had dinner every night here when we stayed in Te Anau (four nights). The food is great, large portions and very affordable. The best pub in the South Island to eat at! The staff were friendly and helpful, the service was great and so were the facilities. Would highly recommend it.

Excellent food, top service from staff at a very busy, lively Bar....good mix of age groups and the barmaid was so good at her job nobody was left waiting from the punters at the bar to the waitress taking the drinks to the table......
