We all had a wonderful meal when we dined there, the meals and selection were superb and matched many overseas restaurants. Thank you we will return again.

My wife and I had dinner at Scotia before attending theatre. The restaurant has a nice ambience and is located just above the Octagon, so is close to many in-town activities. The food was good, but we were disappointed with the service. The waitress was not especially knowledgable. For example, we learned about menu items that were not available after...

Excellent food, service faultless. Warm atmosphere. Would happily dine there again, but live in the North Island! A warm and intimate dining experience. The sm oked beef and hare were gorgeous.
Delicious tasty authentic Scottish cuisine & service was friendly & attentive without being at all intrusive... We were attending the Comedy show later so needed an early meal and despite arriving late to dine, staff were very helpful...
One of the best meals we ate on our holiday, and a really charming venue. The service was wonderful, too.

Popped in for dinner, my wife and I shared a starter of new season Bluff oysters which were delicious. For mains we both had the haggis, excellent too, good sized portions as well. Excellent value for money for what we had and the service was attentive, friendly and efficient. Great whiskey menu too! Would definitely return and/or recommend.

My wife's gravadlax was a little dry, but was...

Lovely setting in an old terraced house. Unfortunately it stops there. The waiter served my wife a starter portion when she had asked for it as a main meal. When this was pointed out he said it was a main turned around and walked off. He could not have cared less. When this was pointed out when we paid at...
