Vary tasty autunm lunch was enjoyed by both of us on a sunny Sunday afternoon in the courtyard. Had a view from the table out a window across with autunm coloured vines to the mountains to the west. Very tasty food, great wine and helpful wait staff made for a great day out. The salmon and the pork dishes were... More

I like this restaurant. It looks like you are in the South of France. Food is good as well as wine and service. I recommend you book your table.

Lovely food, simple lunchtime platters but very nicely done. Friendly and fast service. Location is in a courtyard so unfortunately no great views, but this was still a very agreeable spot for lunch and a vineyard definitely worth visiting for the tasting alone, wines are well above average: highly recommended.

My first recommendation when visiting Marlborough is to head straight to the i-Site (8 Sinclair St, Mayfield, Blenheim) and get a wine tasting map. Unless you're doing an organised tour, this wine tasting map is essential - it includes the names, addresses, phone numbers and hours of all of the vineyards in the Region so that you can properly plan... We went there for our lunch when we got to Marlborough. I know the service in NZ is different than America, but it was still so-so service where the staff was not that friendly. Food was also so-so. I wouldn't recommend it to others since there are so many other places to try.

Two of us stopped by for lunch on the way back from Lake Rotoiti. The restaurant was full outside and we were offered a table inside. Very good and knowledgable wait staff, even though under pressure as they were short-staffed on the day. Excellent starter of garlic bread with dukkah, followed by the pulled pork sandwich and the pasta dish.... More

Reading the reviews, I accept that maybe we had a rare bad experience here. On the day we went it was chaos. I was told that the Managers were all on a public holiday and perhaps that is why. Junior staff were all very charming but, basically, running around like leaderless chooks, achieving very little - despite the best efforts... More

Must see the gardens and welcoming staff - really made me feel special and welcome. The food was outstanding and the wines were very palettable.
