Just had dinner here for my husband's birthday - fantastic. Complimentary bubbles to start to celebrate and even a little chocolate cake at the end (neither of which I requested). Superb food and very attentive staff. Very impressed and look forward to returning when we are next in town.

Lived up to its repute as the best local restaurant. Prices reasonable given quality. Cooking and plating highest standard. Wines thoughtfully selected highlighting regional specialties and priced fairly. Service fine.

portions were great. In NZ countryside the portions tend to be overdone, but the little complimentary taster was just right, and left room for an entree and main. All of which were very, very good.

Had a great dinner here. In NZ for 2 weeks and this was one of best places we eat. The pork belly was fantastic and I really recommend it. Best i had in NZ. Value reasonable and service was good. Nice people. Great wine!! Would definitely go again... Thanks Chef!

The food in the restaurant was well presented, lovely flavours and reasonably priced. The service was very good, a good wine list as you would expect in the Marlborough area and we especially liked the taster size entrees.

We are foodies and our B and B (Antria) recommended this restaurant. The dining experience here was as good as anywhere else we ate in New Zealand including the highly rated places in Auckland. The seafood was especially well done and this chef is very imaginative in his execution. The service was attentive and informative.

Our dinner at Hotel d' Urville was a success! Good seafood, fine meats, the menu offers whatever you fancy. The dishes are very tasty and elaborately presented. A good wine-list complements this great experience.
