Elements is located at Lyall Bay some 10 minutes drive from Courtney Place. Its well worth the visit. I have never been disappointed here - the food is good. A great place to go at a windy rainy Wellington Sunday morning. They also have a cafe part where you can just sit and chill over a nice flat white. Read... More

This gem is a little off the beaten track of Courtenay Place/ Cuba street. Not even on the water front at Lyall Bay, but back a couple of blocks on Onepu Street. It has grown over the years but still in minimalist stylist decor provides the best of Pacific Rim cuisine. The Chef and front of house are excellent. The... More

In the past we have enjoyed our visits to Elements Cafe. Recently we dropped in for a late afternoon snack and the' front of house' was unwelcoming and grumpy. Even though the cafe was not busy we had to work very hard to get any attention. We weren't offered a menu or drinks. We managed to order a cold platter... More

I often go here for lunch - they have consistently good food beautifully fresh and nicely presented. Great staff. Have done several cooking classes which I highly recommend. One of the best cafes in Wellington.

one of the most delicious lunches I've ever had...so unexpected in a little cafe in Lyall Bay! The espresso pannacotta with salted caramel sauce and caramelised walnuts was probably the best dessert I've ever eaten...I wish I hadn't shared it with my husband!

I have been here before, but wasnt impressed this time. I had a very nice quiche with a very boring green salad (which I was changed $4.50 for. (Was a handful of leaves pulled out of a plastic bag ). There is nothing to soak up the noise of lots of people talking at top speed. Friendly service.

Had the macaroni cheese, it was awesome loved every bite. Coffee was excellent as well. Service could have been a little bit better, waitress seemed like she didn't want to be there. When I paid at the end they seemed preoccupied with other things (it was busy). Good food and drinks, just needed a better personal touch from the staff.

This restaurant is definitely worth the quick trip out of the city to Lyall Bay. We have been here several times now with both big groups and intimate dinner for two. The service is excellent (friendly and professional) and the food was wonderful - on a par with our favourite Auckland restaurant Vinnies.

It's an OK suburban cafe, except when they forget your order, which is - of course - your own fault. Not really worth a visit - more a contingency if others nearby aren't free.

Went with a large family group. Meals were all delicious, and they all arrived quickly. Everyone in our group enjoyed their brunch, and the staff were very helpful.
