Great little cafe with goid fiid and service. Garden has sun and shade and an outside bar in the evenings. Saw a stage area so expect live music too. Well worth a vist.

This place has become my new favourite in Newtown. The service here is excellent, the food generous in portions and great quality. The Supreme coffee is also excellent, and the outdoor seating in fine weather is the best place in town to be.

Great to see this place! really adding a touch of home to newtown! Staff are freindly and the food is done beautifully ! made with alot of aroha! The outdoor area is a bonus!

Late morning...hungry...needed a feed! As we walked up the street, we tried a French place and a health food place...nice looking but no substance to the food for the ravenous. Then we came to Baobob. A friendly welcome, great selection and the cabinets were very appealing. Ordered from the brunch menu and was not disappointed. Left full and incredibly satisfied.

Unique cafe in Newtown. Nice relaxing atmosphere. Good food choices if you're after something different. Great for veggies. Beautifully presented mint tea and generous portion for the veggie burger. Worth a visit but shush keep it a secret.

Found it by accident because the neighbouring French cafe was closed so we were a bit reluctant at first: brown paper lightshades and a scruffy Newtown shop front were not a good start. But as the others have said; the food (healthy, organic, delicious), coffee, coziness, and service are great so it gets our vote. Try a cheese scone!
